Listed grade II as being of specific architectural or historical interest, Hillfield Cottage retains original features and characteristics from the forthcoming centuries including a wealth of exposed timbers. The property benefits from gas central heating throughout and has recently been the subject of a tasteful restoration programme, providing accommodation which in brief comprises: hall, two receptions including a heavily timbered sitting room with Inglenook and fitted gas stove, separate dining room with door to garden and the newly remodelled kitchen breakfast room has built in appliances, butler sink, space for a range oven and attractive granite work surfaces. A stylish shower room completes the ground floor accommodation.

On the first floor are two comfortable bedrooms. A particular feature of the cottage are the mature and well stocked gardens providing the occupants with a pleasant degree of privacy which have recently been extended and back onto farmland.

Outside
A traditional five bar gate opens to shingle driveway providing vehicle parking and turning space, leading to a detached single garage built of brick construction beneath a tiled roof with barn style doors, the garage measures 19 x 9.10 and has power and lighting connected, fitted shelving and windows to rear.

To the rear of the cottage is a charming lawned garden providing the occupants with a pleasant degree of privacy, stocked with an abundance of flowering plants, shrubs and mature trees. Situated to the rear of the cottage is a useful outbuilding measuring 9 x 7 with fitted cupboard, power and lighting connected. The gardens have recently been extended and now include a further area of garden backing onto farmland.

Situation
The Cottage occupies a prominent setting close to the village centre and its local amenities which include two village inns, parish church and post office.
